Nancy Beaule started NK Foods after selling her previous business, BetaBake Products in Lewiston, Maine.  Nancy invented the 'Pie Saver", a foil ring that prevents pies from burning.  The Pie Saver is sold nationwide in many supermarkets and Wal-Mart. The company is now located in Nashville, Tennessee.
